Deep Side Body Stretch

This class focuses on side body stretching, providing some openness to your waist, lower back, rib cage, and intercostal muscles (the muscles in between your ribs), which leads to improved breathing and exploration of a type of movement we rarely do. We’re so used to bending forwards to eat or sit at a table, and sometimes even backwards, but side bends don’t get nearly enough attention. This flow is a yin yoga style and no props are needed – just grab your favorite herb and find a space to stretch.
