Yin Yoga to Relieve Headaches

For this class we’ll be focusing on breathing techniques and deep yin yoga shapes that help relieve headaches as well as muscle tension in the shoulders and neck that can result from chronic headaches and migraines.

Yin yoga is a style of yoga with long held, passive poses and is really good for deep relaxation and increased flexibility. Grab your herb (cannabis is a vasodilator so is also a great reliever of headaches) and two blocks, maybe some peppermint essential oil if you have it! Since these poses are held for a long period of time (about 3-5 minutes on each side), this is the perfect class to smoke a joint to and cultivate relaxation.
